Travis Hunter injured: What happened to Colorado's two-way star? Latest updates explored

The Colorado Buffaloes are looking to continue their hot start to the regular season but may be without two-way star Travis Hunter as he suffered a shoulder injury during the second quarter of their Week 7 game.

Later in the second quarter, Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter left the game with a shoulder injury and is officially questionable to return to the game against the 18th-ranked Kansas State Wildcats.

He appeared to injure it on offense as he took a hit on a crossing pattern, where he made the catch and took himself out of the game.

As ESPN noted on the bottom third of the video, Travis Hunter was on the field for 44 of the 45 total plays in the game. He did not get back onto the field before halftime.

Soon, after the game, Deion Sanders was asked about Hunter's medical status. He did not share any updates and also refused to comment on the other two wideouts, Jimmy Horn Jr. and Omarion Miller, who left the field with similar injuries.

“I haven’t gotten an update on those particular young men,” Sanders said, per Yahoo Sports. “Hopefully, they can get back at it. But we’re not going to rush them. Their safety and their health is much more important than this game.”

Fans offer prayers for fast recovery of Travis Hunter after Week 7 setback

As soon as Colorado's two-way star went down, fans were quick to react and shared their prayers for fast recovery. No doubt, it was an extreme shocker seeing Buffs' prime weapon going down in crucial point of the game.

"Damn I do not like this at all," said one of the fans.
"Separated shoulder doubtful to return," this viewer already predicted the aftermath of this situation.
"I wish him a speedy recovery," another fan quoted.
"The entire team is hurt now. They might as well pack up and leave the stadium," said a dissapointed Colorado fan.
