"Travis Hunter may have a shot at Heisman": Skip Bayless all praise for Colorado star, makes bold Shedeur Sanders prediction

Veteran sports analyst Skip Bayless had big praise for Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes (4-1) after their 48-21 win over the UCF Knights in Week 5 on Saturday.

In a video posted on his social media handles, Bayless was all praise for Buffaloes' two-way-star Travis Hunter. He said Hunter could have a chance at winning the Heisman Trophy, while quarterback Shedeur Sanders could go as the top draft pick next year.

While waxing lyrical on Colorado, Bayless also reminded his followers he had predicted the Buffs' success earlier this week on his show:

"I keep trying to tell you so, about the Colorado Buffaloes. I dare you to watch just the top, just the first few minutes of this week's Skip Bayless show. And, watch me laugh at the points spread at UCF, in which UCF was favored by as much as 15.5 points, (but) it was 48-21 to Colorado." Bayless said.
"Because Shedeur is the best quarterback in college football and should go No. 1 in the draft." Bayless said. "And Travis Hunter may have a shot at winning the Heisman. He went up on the Heisman polls today after he picked off a pass. This Colorado team is way better than a lot of people think. It's about to buffaloe a whole lot of experts. Trust me."

Colorado, who finished last season with a disappointing 4-8 record, has already managed four wins this season after Week 5. Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter have been among the standout players for the Buffaloes this season.

In five games this season, Sheduer has completed 110 of 162 passes for 1,340 yards with 11 touchdowns. He has thrown two interceptions. The signal-caller has also rushed for one touchdown.

Meanwhile, Hunter is also enjoying a fabulous campaign so far. As a wideout, he has racked up 472 yards on 37 receptions and caught five touchdowns. As a cornerback, he has recorded 14 tackles, two passes defended, one forced fumble and one interception.

When is Colorado's next game?

Colorado has an off in Week 6 and will resume action in Week 7. The Buffaloes will host the Kansas State Wildcats in their next game, which will take place at Folsom Field.
