Travis Hunter's fiancee highlights every Green Bay fan's emotions after Davante Adams reunites with Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets and quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued their horrendous run that has seen them lose three consecutive games with a 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Monday. The Jets have now fallen to 2-4.
There was good news for Rodgers on Tuesday when the Jets traded for wide receiver Davante Adams from the Las Vegas Raiders with Las Vegas set to receive a conditional third-round draft pick in next year's draft.
On Instagram, Colorado Buffaloes star Travis Hunter's fiancee, Leanna Lenee, summarized the feelings of Green Bay Packers fans with a post on her stories after Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams were reunited in New York.
"All Packers fans are screaming abt this," Leanna wrote.
Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers spent eight years together playing for the Green Bay Packers as one of the NFL's most deadly duos. The pair combined for 7,517 yards on 615 completions, resulting in 68 touchdowns. Between 2018 and 2021, the pair combined for 5,257 yards, resulting in 47 touchdowns.
Aaron Rodgers excited to reunite with Davante Adams
On the "Pat McAfee Show" on Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers was discussing the season the New York Jets are having before Davante Adams made a surprise appearance in the same location.
Both Adams and Rodgers expressed their excitement at reuniting in New York.
"We're back, man," Adams said. "We're back."
"Obviously, I'm really excited," Rodgers said "It's on us now. We're going all in."
Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich also acknowledged the potential of the combination between Rodgers and Adams during a news conference.
"(He's) not only an elite player, as we all know, but the relationship with him and Aaron just takes his value to a whole other space for us," Ulbrich said.
"I think we'll figure that out in the next couple of days, how all these pieces fit together. It's an exciting and a good problem to have because we've got a lot of different guys with a lot of different skill sets that can do a lot of different things.
"(Quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator) Todd (Downing) and his staff will have some sleepless nights with some good problems."
New York Jets fans will hope that Aaron Rodgers can take their team to the playoffs now that he has one of the most potent weapons that he has ever had in his career back on the same team with him.
