Travis Hunter's fiancée makes bold demand after Colorado star's spectacular display against Baylor
Travis Hunter proved instrumental as the Colorado Buffaloes posted a thrilling 38-31 victory against the Baylor Bears in their Big 12 opener. His dual-threat skills came to the rescue when the Buffs needed it the most, tackling Baylor's Dominic Richardson in the final seconds of overtime.
Hunter's performance throughout the game was top-notch, allowing him to strengthen his case for the Heisman, and the wideout's fiancée, Leanna Lenee, demanded just that. Travis posted a few shots from the game on Instagram after their dramatic win.
Many fans swooped in to congratulate the rising Buffs star for the team's first Big 12 win since their return to the league. Meanwhile, Lenee's comment stood out as she wrote, "Heisman him NOW 😍."
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver and cornerback is already a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy. After this past week of play, Hunter has 37 receptions and five touchdowns. As a cornerback, he has 14 tackles and an interception to his name.

A Travis Hunter tackle won it for Coach Prime against Baylor
After the fourth quarter, Coach Prime's Buffaloes were tied with the Bears with a 31-31 score. LaJohntay Wester grabbed a 43-yard Hail Mary pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders in the last seconds to take the game to overtime.
In overtime, the "do-it-all" Hunter helped his team snatch a win from the jaws of the Bears. Hunter sealed the deal for Colorado, forcing Richardson to fumble right at the end zone.
"I knew I had to tackle. You could see me putting in my mouthpiece late in the play, so I was already ready. I knew they were coming at me. They don't think I can tackle, so I had to show them," said Hunter via ESPN after the game ended favorably for his team.
