Travis Hunter's theft spree continues as Ja Morant's gift to Coach Prime gets stolen

Travis Hunter can't keep himself away from the spotlight, whether it's on or off the gridiron. Only days after snagging a pair of sneakers from Deion Sanders' office in broad daylight, the Colorado two-way player has admitted to stealing another pair of shoes that were gifted to Coach Prime by NBA superstar Ja Morant.

In a video that has created a buzz on social media, Hunter is heard bragging about his latest theft.

“You see something new about me?" Hunter says, before the camera pans to his shoes. "Just look at that. Yep. Ja Morant's, man… I gotta flex ’em.”
"Everytime I steal another pair I put it on my feet. Fresh," Hunter added.

A few days ago, Sanders posted a video on his Instagram, showing Hunter in his office casually lifting a pair of LeBron James kicks from the room.

The two also engaged in a lighthearted conversation, with Sanders labeling his player a "thief" and saying he went "very roguish" after being caught red-handed.

Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter is having a stellar season thus far, and his name is in the hat to win the Heisman Trophy this season.

As a wide receiver, Hunter has racked up 757 yards on 60 receptions and caught eight touchdowns in eight games. He has also put up 20 total tackles, 13 solo, eight passes defended, two interceptions, and one forced fumble as a cornerback for Colorado.

Hunter will aim to continue his excellent run in the back end of the regular season, with the Buffaloes also having an outside chance of reaching the 12-team College Football Playoff.

No. 23 Colorado (6–2 overall record, 4–1 in Big 12). has an off in Week 10 but will resume action against Texas Tech on Nov. 9.
