USC football recruiting: 5-star QB Julian Lewis hints at final decision while receiving offer from Deion Sanders’ Colorado
Julian Lewis, the five-star quarterback sensation, is making circles in the recruiting world. With 48 touchdowns and over 3,000 yards last season, it's no surprise that "JuJu fever" has gotten to every top school in the college football landscape.
However, Lewis may have relieved Lincoln Riley after his latest tweet on X. The highly-rated quarterback wrote:
"More work to do, but thankful to Officially have an opportunity to be @uscfb Trojan ✌️ @LincolnRiley @CoachLukeHuard @DaGman7"
While still committed to the USC Trojans, Lewis received a scholarship offer from Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes. Looks like the Buffs are not giving up on him so easily. This has put Colorado football as the only program with a legitimate chance of flipping Lewis from USC. On3's Phillip Dukes said:
"I think things are getting real there. I think you're going to look up one day and you're going to see Julian Lewis in a black and gold jersey."
As Julian Lewis inches closer to his final decision, college football fans are on the edge of their seats, waiting to see if he'll stick with the Trojans or make a bold move to join Coach Prime.

CFB analyst sees Julian Lewis' move to Colorado putting Deion Sanders rumors to rest
The Julian Lewis conundrum goes on and on however, there’s one more angle to it. FOX Sports analyst RJ Young believes that if the five-star QB commits to Colorado, it would silence the rumors about Deion Sanders leaving the Buffs before his five-year contract ends.
Many speculate that Coach Prime might leave once his sons, Shedeur and Shilo Sander, move on to the NFL.
"Coach Prime got into coaching to coach his boys. He followed them from Little League to high school at Trinity, to Jackson State, and now to Colorado. It's not unreasonable to think he might follow them to the NFL," Young said.
"I think that a JuJu Lewis could help put down all of that and be like ‘nah, nah, nah, he has a five-star quarterback coming in as an heir apparent to Shedeur, who has the goods to play right away.'" [via Glory Colorado].
Adding to the intrigue, it’s not just Lewis who’s being linked to top football programs. Analyst Paul Finebaum has Coach Prime taking over Lincoln Riley’s job at USC in his take on ESPN.
