Utah Utes Transfer Portal Tracker 2024-25: List of players leaving Kyle Whittingham's UtesĀ 

The Utah Utes had a tough season as they finished the regular season with a 5-7 record, including a 2-7 mark in their first season of Big 12 play. Things fell apart after a 4-0 start as they lost seven consecutive games before ending the year with a victory.

With the transfer portal now officially open, several players have already announced their intention to change programs.

Here's a closer look at which Utah players were among that group, as per 247Sports.

Utah Utes transfer portal tracker 2024-25

#1. Isaac Wilson, Quarterback

Isaac Wilson joined the Utah Utes as a four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. He appeared in nine games, seven of which were starts, throwing for 1,510 yards, 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He completed just 56.4% of his pass attempts, adding 47 rushing yards on 61 carries. Wilson announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 8.

#2. Sam Huard, Quarterback

Sam Huard initially joined the Washington Huskies as a five-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class. He appeared in five games, one of which was a start, throwing for 265 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions while completing just 54.5% of his pass attempts.

Huard joined the Cal Poly Mustangs via the transfer portal ahead of the 2023 season and made nine appearances, all of which were starts. He threw for 2,205 yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions while completing 60.9% of his pass attempts. Huard joined Utah via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season and did not see the field. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 8.

#3. Brandon Rose, Quarterback

Brandon Rose joined the Utes as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in three games, one of which was a start, throwing for 157 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. He completed just 52.8% of his pass attempts, adding 66 rushing yards on 11 carries. Rose announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#4. Jaylon Glover, Running Back

Jaylon Glover joined the Utah Utes as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 25 games, recording 982 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 227 carries. Glover added eight receptions for 73 yards. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Nov. 13 and committed to join the UNLV Rebels on Dec. 16.

#5. Dijon Stanley, Running Back

Dijon Stanley joined Utah as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in 22 games, recording 67 rushing yards on 26 carries. Stanley added 10 receptions for 187 yards and two touchdowns and three kickoff returns for 79 yards. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#6. Anthony Woods, Running Back

Anthony Woods initially joined the Idaho Vandals as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 24 games, recording 2,026 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on 361 carries. Woods added 20 receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown.

He joined the Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season and did not see the field. Woods announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#7. Damien Alford, Wide Receiver

Damien Alford initially joined the Syracuse Orange as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. He appeared in 42 games, recording 67 receptions for 1,291 yards and seven touchdowns. Alford joined the Utah Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season and did not see the field. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 6.

#8. Carsen Ryan, Tight End

Carsen Ryan initially joined the UCLA Bruins as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 17 games, recording 19 receptions for 287 yards and three touchdowns.

Ryan joined Utah via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season. He appeared in 12 games and hauled in 10 receptions for 113 yards and a touchdown. Ryan announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the BYU Cougars on Dec. 16.

#9. CJ Jacobsen, Tight End

CJ Jacobsen joined the Utes as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He did not see the field during his tenure with the program. Jacobsen announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 8.

#10. Ka'eo Akana, Edge Rusher

Ka'eo Akana joined the Utah Utes as a four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in 11 games during his tenure with the program, recording one total tackle, which was a solo tackle. Akana announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#11. Vili Taufatofua, Edge Rusher

Vili Taufatofua initially joined the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos as an unranked prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He joined Utah via the transfer portal ahead of the 2023 season and appeared in just one game without recording any stats. Taufatofua announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the San Jose State Spartans on Dec. 13.

#12. Simote Pepa, Defensive Lineman

Simote Pepa joined Utah as a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. He appeared in 37 games, recording 45 total tackles, 21 of which were solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 4.0 sacks and two passes defended. Pepa announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 6 and committed to join the Washington Huskies on Dec. 16.

#13. Bobby Piland Jr., Defensive Lineman

Bobby Piland Jr. joined Utah as a three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He did not see the field during his tenure with the program. Piland Jr. announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9.

#14. Sione Fotu, Linebacker

Sione Fotu joined the Utah Utes as a three-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class. He has appeared in 25 games, recording 50 total tackles, 22 of which were solo tackles and four passes defended. Fotu announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9.

#15. Josh Calvert, Linebacker

Josh Calvert initially joined the Washington Huskies as a four-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. He did not see the field during his tenure with the program and joined the Utah Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2021 season.

Calvert has appeared in 27 games, recording five total tackles, one of which was a solo tackle, and 1.0 tackles for loss. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9.

#16. Helaman Ofahengaue, Linebacker

Helaman Ofahengaue joined Utah as a two-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class. He appeared in just four games during his tenure with the program and did not record any stats. Ofahengaue announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 16.

#17. Cameron Calhoun, Cornerback

Cameron Calhoun initially joined the Michigan Wolverines as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in just two games with the program and did not record any stats.

Calhoun joined the Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2024 season. He appeared in 11 games, recording 21 total tackles, 12 of which were solo tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss, one interception and nine passes defended. Calhoun announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 10.

#18. John Randle Jr., Cornerback

John Randle Jr. joined Utah as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He changed positions from running back to cornerback ahead of the 2024 season. Randle Jr. appeared in 14 games, recording six total tackles, four of which were solo tackles. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#19. CJ Blocker, Cornerback

CJ Blocker joined the Utes as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class. He appeared in six games, recording one total tackle, which was a solo tackle. Blocker announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 7.

#20. Jack Bouwmeester, Punter

Jack Bouwmeester initially joined the Michigan State Spartans as a three-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting class. He joined the Utah Utes via the transfer portal ahead of the 2022 season. Bouwmeester appeared in 39 games, punting 154 times for 6,711 yards. He announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Dec. 9 and committed to join the Texas Longhorns on Dec. 13.
