WATCH: $3.1M NIL-valued Travis Hunter learns new TD celebration moves from YouTuber Kai Cenat
Travis Hunter and the Colorado Buffaloes had an amazing showing in Week 3. Deion Sanders' team defeated their state rivals, Colorado State, in a 28-9 convincing win.
Enjoying the mid-week before the game against the Baylor Bears on Saturday, Hunter engaged with YouTube and Twitch streamer - Kai Cenat. The duo streamed live as Cenat, one of Twitch’s top creators, taught Hunter the art of bringing extra flair to the end zone. The $3.1M NIL-valued star is one of the hottest names in college football right now.
The Buffs fans would eagerly hope for a Shedur Sanders—Travis Hunter connection early on against Baylor to see if the 21-year-old debuts those new moves. If he does score, we might witness some of Kai Cenat's inspiration in the college football landscape.
Colorado coach Deion Sanders believes that Hunter’s skills are already beyond impressive. He feels that the WR is NFL-ready, with his ability to play on both sides of the ball.

Deion Sanders slammed over Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders' stat-padding
There’s nothing that Deion Sanders could have done more as the Buffs made easy work of Jay Norvell and his team over the weekend. However, Coach Prime was still at the center of criticism with accusations of him allowing Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders to 'stat-pad.'
Colorado was leading comfortably in the fourth quarter, but Coach Prime kept his star players in the game. This raised a concern among Buffs insider - Kevin Borba. He called out the NFL Hall of Famer, saying:
“If you’re up, you gotta protect your key players. Would you rather rack up late-game stats or make a run in the Big 12?”
Hunter has racked up 30 receptions and 342 yards this season, while Coach Prime’s quarterback son boasts 999 passing yards and 9 touchdowns. While there’s no doubt that the quarterback-WR duo is essential to Colorado’s success, critics argue that keeping them in during meaningless minutes could lead to injury.
The Colorado HC’s aggressive late-game strategy has worked so far, but is it worth the risk? The Buffs are looking to make noise in the Big 12, especially after a 4-8 season in 2023, and for that, they’ll have to manage their star players.
