WATCH: $4.6M NIL-valued Shedeur Sanders latest announces partnership via latest IG story

Shedeur Sanders is making the best use of the college football offseason in terms of finances. The Colorado quarterback signed a partnership with JD Sports, a premium footwear and accessories business selling items from high-end and trendy brands like Nike, Converse, Vans, Jordans, etc.

Deion Sanders' son posted a story on Instagram that featured him at a JD Sports outlet. Rocking an all-black outfit comprising a sweatshirt and shorts, Shedeur sounded thrilled over the opportunity.

The Colorado QB also signed footballs and t-shirts during his visit to JD Sports, shaking as many hands as possible. Excited over his partnership with such a reputed business, the $4.6 million worth NIL-star (as per On3) said,

"It's gotta be legedary"

Shedeur is considered one of the best QBs in the Big 12 conference this year. If he dreams of making it big in the NFL, the time is now for Coach Prime's son to give his best in the 2024 CFB season.

Problems seem to chase Shedeur Sanders

Colorado’s star quarterback is under scrutiny once again. Following the controversies involving former teammates Xavier Smith and Cormani McClain, his leadership has come under fire.

Amidst these challenges, he was compared to NFL legend Aaron Rodgers, but in a rather negative sense. NFL expert Mike Farrell critiqued Sanders, labeling him as "selfish."

Farrell highlighted an incident where Sanders opted to walk the runway at Pharrell Williams' Louis Vuitton Men’s Fall/Winter 2024 show in Paris, rather than attending the first team meeting of the 2024 season in Boulder.

"As the franchise QB, his commitment to the team is vital, and this sends a message to the rest of the team," Farrell said.

He predicts that Sanders' perceived selfishness, compounded by his father and head coach Deion Sanders allowing such behavior, could negatively impact the Buffaloes' locker room morale and on-field performance this season.

For Shedeur Sanders, the upcoming season is crucial. Addressing these concerns and proving his dedication to the team will be essential if he wants to silence critics and secure his place as a franchise quarterback in the NFL.
