NBA legend Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony attended Team USA's 2024 Paris Olympics Gold medal game with his father. Barely a week later, the Long Island Lutheran prospect was back at work, training with renowned NBA trainer Chris Brickley, who works with professional superstars.
Anthony showed off his hooping skills during a session with "Humble Development Youth" in an Instagram clip posted on their page.The prospect tries out a dunk during a pickup game and fails before exploding to the rim and finishing powerfully over his opponent to the cheers of the young fans.

Kiyan Anthony has leveled up this year
Kiyan Anthony leveled up this year during the Nike EYBL Circuit averaging 19.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.5 assists. He was one of the best players in the circuit, ratcheting up attention.
Anthony has reacted favorably to playing against some of the best prospects in the country during the circuit, including NBA legend LeBron James's son Bryce James who was his teammate last year, playing for "Strive For Greatness 16U" at the Las Vegas Big Time Tournament.
This year, the duo were opponents. Kiyan Anthony said during an episode of the "7 PM in Brooklyn" podcast how he used this year's Peach Jam to gauge just how far he had come as a player against the nation's best players.
"I feel like high school is different than AAU cause high school I was playing with like two top 10 players and we were like top three in the country but in AAU I gotta be on my own team and be leading and flourish, so AAU every team you play there's gonna be at least one top-ranked player so that's how you measure yourself.
"If you're able to guard that person and he's guarding you and if you're able to compete with them and if you're able to get the win," Anthony said.
Anthony was named the No. 1 ranked player in New York in the class of 2025 by ESPN, highlighting his heightened status. He also shot up from the No. 62 overall player in the class of 2025 to No. 40, highlighting the improvement in his game.
The interest in his services has increased as Kiyan Anthony cut down the number of schools under consideration to six. Should he continue his upward trajectory, he could potentially be a year away from being considered a first-round pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
