WATCH: Deion Sanders delivers powerful locker room speech after Week 2 humiliation

Deion Sanders and his Colorado Buffaloes unit are coming off a humiliating 28-10 loss against the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday during their Week 2 matchup. Multiple issues from last year resurfaced as the Buffaloes' offensive line couldn't get hold of Nebraska's defense, which was the star of the game, as Nebraska coach Matt Rhule said.

Such a loss can sometimes derail an entire campaign but with Sanders at the helm, his words hold value. On Sunday, a video from the Buffs' Instagram went viral where Coach Prime is seen giving a pep talk to his boys after the game in the Buffs locker room.

"Everybody’s got something going on. Everybody’s dealing with something in their life, and you’ve got to persevere. You’ve got to overcome it. You’ve got to keep going. You’ve got to keep walking forward," Sanders said.
"You cannot stop when the enemy has a clear shot at you. Just keep going. This is an adverse situation—what are you going to do about it? We’ve got to keep going. You’ve got to keep walking. You’ve got to keep moving. Love y’all, man."

Deion Sanders ended his speech with an optimistic outlook.

"We just got our butts kicked today, but we’re going to kick some butt. Let’s clean this stuff up, evaluate ourselves, and do some self-reflection on the way back, okay?" Sanders added.

Deion Sanders reveals biggest issue Colorado faced vs Nebraska

The Nebraska Cornhuskers defense was one of the stars of the game. Their offense was also good in the first half, getting to 28 by halftime. The combination of the two led their path to win easily.

Meanwhile, for Deion Sanders' program, costly blunders and a weak offensive line were the biggest issues in the first half of the game. There's only so much an elite quarterback like Shedeur Sanders can do if the linemen aren't able to give him enough time to find him an open man or a route runner.

"It seemed like we just never got it going until it was too late," Coach Prime said per Bleacher Report. "Seemed like we just never got it going. Protection was a problem. I'm trying to be polite and say it because I can say the same thing you're thinking but if I say it, you'll say I'm throwing my guys under the bus.
"I'm not doing that whatsoever. Protection was a problem. We have to figure out a way to prevent that and do a better job with that."

Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes need to get their headspace right when they next face state rivals, the Colorado State Rams, in Week 3.
