WATCH: Georgia QB Carson Beck hits impressive drive as he tries his hands on golf

Carson Beck can make a career in golf if football doesn't work out for him. The Georgia quarterback posted a series of photographs on Instagram, enjoying the CFB offseason by playing golf at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Walking the lush green grass on a sunny day, Beck wore a patterned violet t-shirt and black shorts as he posed with his golf club and buddies. Have a look:

Apart from the post, it was Beck's IG story that caught the attention of the fans. Using his driver club, the QB hit a peach of a shot down the green. Amateur golfer and internet personality - Evan Thompson recorded Beck's shot and captioned it:

Josh Pate backs Carson Beck for Georgia's success

Josh Pate has thrown his full support behind Georgia’s QB1 as the Bulldogs gear up for the 2024 campaign. On his show "Late Kick with Josh Pate," the CFB analyst said:

"If Carson Beck does nothing more...than play to his potential, he's gonna justify everyone who's mocked him in the first round of the NFL Draft next year."

If the Bulldogs aim to secure another national title, then Beck’s performance has to be near Heisman level. Pate backs the 21-year-old QB to excel at an "A-minus or better" level, which he believes will set the tone for Georgia's dominance.

"I think Beck is the most important football player in the conference this year... That's the best team in the conference, they're gonna win it and may go on to win it all," Pate asserted.

Last season, Beck managed to register 3,941 yards and 24 touchdowns with only six interceptions to his name.

With head coach Kirby Smart at the helm and the addition of Colbie Young, Michael Jackson III, and London Humphreys to their roster, Georgia’s offensive firepower is one to watch out for in the 2024 CFB season.
