WATCH: LSU's Will Campbell shows off his alligator hunting skills in the swamp with NIL partner
LSU's left tackle Will Campbell inked a new name, image and likeness deal with Gordan McKernan Injury Attorneys. As part of a promotional video, Campbell brought his new partners on a hobby of his, alligator hunting.
Will Campbell, a native of Monroe, Louisiana, has a deep love for the outdoors and enjoys hunting alligators in his free time. Since he partnered with injury attorneys, they agreed to make a video on his dangerous hobby. So, if someone ever wants to go alligator hunting and gets injured, they have attorneys they can call.
In the full video, Campbell can be seen on a boat with a few experts hunting alligators. Campbell himself will catch the gators, hold their mouths together, and tie them up so they can't bite. It is quite a spectacle to watch for anyone who has not seen anything like it before.
The video does a good job of mixing action and humor while showcasing the unique experience of hunting in Louisiana.
Will Campbell NIL Deal with Gordon McKernon Injury Attorneys
As one of the best offensive linemen in college football, Campbell has not had a problem finding NIL deals. So, it was not a surprise to see him ink a deal with Gordon McKernon Injury Attorneys. However, the video they put together was unique compared to what most NIL partners do.
Gordon McKernan, the head of the company, commented on the new partnership and the decision to make this video:
"When Will and I first connected, we discovered a shared passion for hunting and the outdoors. This was a great opportunity to bring that to life and to showcase a unique part of Louisiana culture."
Campbell has been alligator hunting several times and showcased his skills in the video. The law firm plans to continue showcasing the unique aspects of Louisiana culture in future videos.
Will Campbell and LSU play against Arkansas next
Although Campbell had a lot of fun hunting alligators with his new NIL partners, the work does not stop on the football field. Campbell and No. 8-ranked LSU will travel to Arkansas on Saturday to take on the Razorbacks.
LSU (5-1) will look to continue the momentum it has from its five-game winning streak. Having only lost the first game of the season to USC, LSU has picked up some impressive wins, including 29-26 in overtime on Saturday against No. 18-ranked Ole Miss.
