WATCH: LSU star Livvy Dunne drops hilarious video taking football notes for College GameDay celebrity guest picker appearance
ESPN's "College GameDay" will be on during the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide showdown in Week 11. The guest picker for Week 11 includes LSU gymnast star Livvy Dunne and Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
This will be Dunne's first appearance as a guest picker on College GameDay. And it is safe to say that she is excited to watch the Tigers take on the Crimson Tide in a thrilling death-valley showdown.
The LSU gymnast took to social media to share the preparations she's making for GameDay with her fans. In an Instagram video, we see Dunne with a pen and notebook, making notes while watching a college football game on her laptop.
"Me studying football so I don't embarrass myself on College GameDay," Livvy Dunne wrote in the video.
Both LSU and Alabama are still contending for a spot in the new 12-team playoff format this season. This Week 11 showdown at Baton Rouge will be a critical point in ensuring one of these teams proceeds to the playoffs from the SEC.
Both LSU and Alabama have a 6-2 record so far after 10 weeks of college football. While the Tigers look to recuperate after a 38-23 loss to Texas A&M, Kalen DeBoer and the Crimson Tide will be looking to extend their winning streak to two games after a 34-0 blowout victory over the Missouri Tigers.
Who will be a part of ESPN's College GameDay crew in Week 11?
This will be College GameDay's fifth trip to Baton Rouge for a high-octane game in Death Valley. The crew that will cover this SEC showdown includes Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, Rece Davis, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit.
The College GameDay show is scheduled to start at 9 am ET. Fans will be able to watch the broadcast on television on the ESPN channel. The Alabama vs. LSU game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 pm ET.
Dunne and Skenes have a successful history as a part of the LSU Tigers. While Dunne is an accomplished gymnast, Skenes played one season of baseball with the program. He helped them win the 2023 College World Series and was honored as the College World Series Most Outstanding Player.
Judging by how unpredictable the season has been so far, it is difficult to say who will emerge victorious in this highly anticipated matchup. It will be interesting to see how the first year of the new 12-team playoffs shapes up.
