WATCH: LSU stars Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes dance in joy at Tigers vs. Ole Miss clash
Livvy Dunne and Paul Skenes attended the LSU Tigers vs. Ole Miss Rebels game on Saturday. The couple shouted and enjoyed the energetic environment of Death Valley as the then-No. 13 Tigers won 29-26 in overtime over their rivals who were ranked ninth entering the game.
Dunne shared a video of the stadium after the win. The fans shouted and danced around as everyone celebrated, even Skenes. She then turned the camera around and screamed into it.
"last night was 🤌," Dunne wrote in the caption.
Dunne was recently featured in a Flaunt magazine shoot where she donned avant-garde makeup. The shoot received many reactions from her fans, especially from LSU hooper Flau'jae Johnson and Miami star Haley Cavinder.
Livvy Dunne opened up about using another year of college gymnastics eligibility
The LSU star gymnast saw a fruitful end to her fourth college season as the Tigers won their first national championship in April. Many thought that she would end her collegiate career on a high note but she announced in July that Livvy Dunne is not done yet.
In a video on her Instagram account, she expressed her gratitude for her fans and coaches.
“Dear LSU, these past four years have changed my life. There is something about putting on a purple and gold leotard. There's something about competing in front of 13,000 screaming Tiger fans.
“There's something about being pushed by your coaches to be your very best. And there's something about being part of a team that made school history. And no matter how many opportunities come my way off the mat, there's just something about LSU. And that's why I'm here to say. I'm not done yet.”
In an exclusive interview with Flaunt, Dunne talked about why she returned to college.
“To leave one more year of eligibility on the table? That felt wrong to me,” Dunne said.
Livvy Dunne also said that when she was a teenager and competed in international and national events, she missed prom events and field trips. Considering this, a top-level athlete always has questions in their minds when deciding whether to leave or stay put.
