WATCH: NFL-bound J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum flaunt Michigan's national championship rings ahead of spring game

J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum were present at Michigan's spring game, which served as both a preview of the upcoming season and a celebration of the team's achievements in the previous year.

Quarterback McCarthy, who led the Wolverines to an undefeated 15-0 season and a College Football Playoff (CFP) championship victory, returned to Michigan Stadium to flaunt the prestigious national championship rings. Designed by Jostens, these rings feature iconic team mottos like:

"THOSE WHO STAY WILL BE CHAMPIONS"
"MICHIGAN VS. EVERYBODY"

For McCarthy and running back Blake Corum, the spring game served as a nostalgic moment to reflect on their legacy at Michigan. Speaking with FOX's Joel Klatt during the game, McCarthy gave credit to the collective effort behind their success, stating,

"It means everything, because that’s what you set out for, when you first got on campus, no matter where you’re at. But you know, that 27 wins, that’s not me. That’s everybody around. All the coaches, all the support staff."

The rings were presented to players and staff during a private ceremony in recognition of Michigan's triumphant season, which included their Big Ten championship, Rose Bowl semifinal win over Alabama and the national title.

Will Jim Harbaugh decide the fate of J.J. McCarthy in the 2024 NFL Draft?

As the 2024 NFL Draft draws near, former Michigan star QB J.J. McCarthy is nearing his D-Day. The CFB world is filled with swirling speculations with everyone taking their guess about where will McCarthy land.

Amidst all this, an intriguing plot line seems to be developing in McCarthy's draft journey involving his former head coach, Jim Harbaugh, who could indirectly influence McCarthy's fate in the draft.

NFL insider Adam Schefter discussed this narrative as he believes that Harbaugh's position with Los Angeles might impact McCarthy's destination.

“Like everybody, he is waiting to see where he’s going to be selected on Thursday night in Detroit, not far from Ann Arbor.”
“And in the irony of ironies, maybe, somebody wants to trade up to pick No. 5, which happens to be held by his former head coach Jim Harbaugh in Los Angeles, and Jim Harbaugh could dictate, in the end, ultimately, where JJ McCarthy goes.”

As the draft day inching closer, all eyes are on McCarthy and the drama around his potential selection.
