WATCH: Oklahoma LB Danny Stutsman chides Texas fans by flaunting gold horns down necklace

The Oklahoma Sooners linebacker Danny Stutsman stirred up the emotions of Texas Longhorns fans when he showed up to the Cotton Bowl on Saturday wearing a gold "horns down" chain. He complimented the statement piece with a beige suit, black tie and styled gold glasses.

The biggest rivalry in college football, i.e. the Red River Rivalry, is being played out on Saturday. The winner of the game will receive the Golden Hat, a golden 10-gallon hat that gets passed down to the winning team until the next matchup of the rivalry.

The horns down sign is a touchy topic for Longhorns fans and Danny Stutsman clearly enjoys playing into that rivalry.

The last time the Sooners and Stutsman faced off against the Longhorns, they secured a 34-30 victory. Stutsman even created several t-shirts featuring his image with the quote "Oklahoma only fears God. Texas fears Oklahoma," on the back.

Danny Stutsman talked about the importance of the Texas vs. Oklahoma game for CFB fans

During the off-season, Texas QB Arch Manning said to On3 Sports that the Longhorns vs. Sooners rivalry is one of the biggest games in college football.

"It’s definitely a different level. I’ve always wanted to play in the SEC. I know we’re all excited to be a part of a conference like that."

Danny Stutsman replied to Manning's comments, saying:

"I mean, he's not wrong. When I go to bed, I think about Texas and that game. It is what it is... I know what that game means to myself and every single Sooner fan."
“I have a Longhorn tattooed on my body,” Stutsman said. “Like it means that much to me. You go to bed thinking about how big of a deal it is. You look at every single person in the state of Oklahoma, every single person in the state of Texas, and you know how much it means to them.”

The Texas Longhorns currently have a 21-3 lead over the Sooners.
