WATCH: Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart and others receive special, personalized gifts from TE Caden Prieskorn's 3-year-old son

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart and his teammates received a special present this Monday. Rebels tight end Caden Prieskorn's three-year-old son, Mac, decided to gift a series of "uncle-themed" jerseys to his father's teammates.

The video was posted by his mother, Cali Prieskorn, on Instagram.

"Surprising the uncles!!" Cali wrote in the caption.

Mac's father, Caden Prieskorn, has been a tight end with the Ole Miss Rebels since 2023. Before that, he spent three seasons with the Memphis Tigers, with whom he had his best season in 2022, recording 602 receiving yards with seven touchdown receptions.

Last year he had 449 receiving yards with the Rebels and four touchdowns. He has had second-team All-AAC and second-team All-SEC honors in his career.

Caden Prieskorn believes this could be the Rebels' year

Caden Prieskorn spoke with the media last Wednesday, going over the 2023 season and what it meant to him. He also went into detail about the hopes he has for the Ole Miss Rebels 2024 season to be a success:

"I feel like a big part was being healthy towards the end of the season, just feeling comfortable in the offense, and I feel like the coaches were more comfortable with me to do more stuff. It's hard. You didn't know how much I was going to play in some of those games because you never know what could happen with the foot injury.
"Building that confidence with the coaches and Dart, I just had to perform. Now, I'm looking forward to this season... Seeing the talent we had and even bringing these transfers in, [we] have more talent, I knew with this team going forward, the sky's the limit. We've just got to take care of our business and go 1-0 each week."

The Rebels have a golden opportunity to make a postseason run in 2024, with the now-expanded 12-team College Football Playoff format. If they're going to make it, the key will be their QB1, Jaxson Dart.

Jaxson Dart named to the Walter Camp preseason watchlist

2024 is shaping up to be a seminal moment in Jaxson Dart's career, with the Ole Miss signal-caller being among the top 10 favorites to win the coveted Heisman Trophy. Dart has now been named to the watchlist of another, if less famous, college football trophy: the Walter Camp Award.

The award is also given to the top college football player of the year, and in the last two seasons, the winner has also won the Heisman (Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams). Another Rebel, defensive lineman Walter Nolen, was also named to the preseason watchlist.

Jaxson Dart is expected to lead a Rebels roster that has no other objective than to reach the new 12-team playoffs. In 2023, Dart had amazing numbers for the Oxford school, recording 3364 passing yards with 23 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He also had 391 rushing yards with eight touchdowns.

Not only that, but Dart proved he can perform under the limelight, winning important games, like the 55-49 win over LSU on Sept. 30. Dart's performance in the last quarter of the game outdueled eventual Heisman winner Jayden Daniels and helped Ole Miss record 21 points. That day, Jaxson Dart accrued 389 passing yards with four touchdown passes.
