WATCH: Shedeur Sanders puts in extra efforts with intense football drills for Colorado's Big 12 games in 2024

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders is leading the charge with rigorous drills to prepare University of Colorado's football team for their return to the Big 12 Conference after 13 years in the Pac-12. Sanders is methodically taking his receivers through their paces and concentrating on small things like arm movement and eye placement.

Motivating his teammates, Shedeur Sanders said:

"Alright, that's good work. When we say let's throw a 10, let's be here at 10, bro. Let's get it in, get it over with. Saturday I know everybody wanna do it. We all wanna do it. So let's get it in. We got seven months, bro. Today we're all over with. So lock in, let's lock in these last seven months."

Under the guidance of head coach Deion Sanders, Shedeur's father, the team has recently undertaken intense training inspired by the United States Armed Forces. A video posted by Well Off Media on YouTube highlights the team’s Navy SEAL-inspired water training, featuring activities such as holding their breath underwater, swimming with backpacks, and racing across the pool.

These drills are meant to help them gain physical and mental strength that is vital for the challenges that come with the new season.

NFL evaluators are paying close attention to Sanders' development, particularly his tendency to hold onto the ball too long—a factor that contributed to him being sacked 49 times last season. Improving his decision-making and releasing the ball more quickly will be crucial.

Colorado will open their 2024 season against North Dakota State in their first Big 12 Conference game since returning at Folsom Field on August 29.

Shedeur Sanders brimming with sky-high NIL valuation

Shedeur Sanders has emerged as one of college football's biggest superstars, not only due to his impressive performance on the field but also his substantial social media presence. He boasts a social media following of 2.5 million across Instagram, TikTok and X.

According to On3, Sanders holds the highest NIL valuation at an astounding $4.6 million.

Projected as a top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, some experts even predict he could go No. 1 overall. However, it depends on his performance in the upcoming 2024 season.
