With the help of senior quarterback Shedeur Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter, the Colorado Buffaloes' strong run this season continues following their third straight win over Texas Tech, improving their season record to 7-2 and 5-1 in Big 12.
Shedeur led the offense with 291 passing yards on 30-of-43 attempts, including three touchdowns. Meanwhile, the pass-heavy quarterback also rushed for one touchdown last week. Meanwhile, Hunter led all receivers with 99 yards on nine receptions, adding one touchdown.
Following the win over the Raiders, celebrations ran wild in the Buffs locker room, and a glimpse of it circulated on TikTok. In the video, Sanders can be seen vibing to a rap song while shirtless Travis Hunter can be seen making a few hooksteps behind the quarterback.

Colorado coach feels proud of Shedeur Sanders and Co.'s poise despite early deficit
Last week's 41-27 victory against Texas Tech saw the Buffaloes getting into an early deficit after the Raiders had scored 13 unanswered first-quarter points. However, the Shedeur Sanders-led offense went on to score 41 points in the next three quarters to overcome the Raiders' challenge. Coach Prime told reporters:
"We thrive on that. We've always been in adverse situation. Everywhere we go. Some of the typing and the pens and the paperwork puts us in an adverse situation. It's not one time that I'm not getting a reminder on my phone that someone is putting us in adversity. These young men, they were bread for this man. I'm proud of them, I really am, for what they're doing."
The game in Lubbock went out of hand with Shedeur Sanders and Co. continuing to pile up points, with fans throwing tortillas and other objects towards the Colorado players and staff.
"They were throwing everything but my mama at me," Deion Sanders said.
"But when they start throwing the water bottles and those other objects, that's when you've got to alarm the officials, and say, `OK now, tortillas are one thing, but water bottles are another thing.' That's getting a little crazy."
The Buffaloes next play Utah this week.
