In the meantime, Hunter joined Shedeur Sanders on his “2Legendary” podcast on Nov. 5, where they had some lively exchanges:

“If I’m playing like you I’m talking crazy,” Shedeur said.

However, Travis mentioned that:

“I just hate when people say I’m not top five at receiver, top 5 at DB.”

In ESPN’s latest poll, Hunter is climbing to the top of the Heisman Trophy race. His 2024 season stats so far after Week 10 are impressive: 60 receptions, 757 yards, 8 touchdowns, and an average of 12.6 yards per catch.

Hunter’s versatility makes him a game-changer, capable of making plays across the field, no matter his position in the NFL.

Travis Hunter drops NFL draft hint while discussing wedding date

On his teammate Shedeur Sanders' “2Legendary” podcast, Travis Hunter shared some big personal and career news. He confirmed he’s set to marry Leanna Lenee on May 24 next year and said it would be "right at the rookie minicamp."

“May 24th next year,” Hunter said, adding, “We got a date.” [10:46]

When Sanders asked about the location, Hunter replied:

“Chattanooga, Tennessee.”

This perhaps hinted that Hunter is eyeing the 2025 NFL draft, likely meaning he’ll skip his senior season at Colorado.

With the New England Patriots holding the top pick at 2-7, they’re in the spotlight as 2025 draft favorites. Many analysts believe Colorado’s standout two-way star, Travis Hunter, would be an exciting fit for Jerod Mayo’s team, especially with his Heisman-caliber skills as both a receiver and cornerback.
