WATCH: When fearless Deion Sanders got terrified by hilarious Snake Prank on live TV
Deion Sanders is known for his fearsome approach both on and off the field. Whether it'd be troubling opposing wide receivers during his playing time or being outspoken as Colorado Buffaloes head coach, Coach Prime rarely runs away from the situation.
However, an incident during an interview forced him to jump out of his chair and run away. What led him to do that? Let's find out.
Sanders and former MLB player Mel Hall were being interviewed by Steve Rotfeld for his YouTube show, "SteveRotfeldProd" 14 years ago in September 2010. During the interview, Rotfeld asked Sanders to open the basket placed in front of him. Innocently, Sanders went ahead and opened it to find a snake lurking beneath it.
As soon as he gets his hands on it, Deion Sanders was stunned and ran away out of his chair to a corner of the restaurant in fear. Meanwhile, Hall and Rotfeld who were in on it from the start couldn't help but laugh at Sanders' reaction to the snake.

Deion Sanders explains why he keeps "12 gauge" guns to keep wild intruders away from his real estate
Hall of Famer Deion Sanders keeps guns at his Texas property, where he has a large piece of real estate. As Sanders said in an interview, he keeps the guns to chase away wild animals such as wild hogs, snakes, mocassins and coyotes.
“We’re in the country, we hunt," Sanders said via @SkoBuffsGoBuffs on X. "We have wild hogs, a lot of snakes, mocassins, and coyotes. Everything, Turtles on the banks. Turtles take over your lake and get rid of them as well. But that explains why we got 12 gauges upfront. So we’re not just shooting at each other. We come across a lot of things out here in the country.”
While Deion Sanders doesn't like snakes, he doesn't think twice to talk trash about anyone who wrongs him. There have been many analysts, including Paul Finebaum, who have spoken short for Deion's Colorado and had to endure criticism from the coach.
He sure can do that given the impressive ongoing season where Colorado has entered the AP rankings. They are currently ranked No. 18 and have one eye set on the Big 12 championship game and the other to sneak into the 12-team College Playoff Field.
Their next challenge is against Utah, where they'll hope to improve to 8-2 on the season.
