"Wealth is more than rich": $45 million worth Deion Sanders fuels up Colorado locker room with real definition of success ahead of 2024 CFB season

Deion Sanders and his speeches always ignite a fire within anyone who listens. The Colorado athletes are used to these motivational anecdotes from Coach Prime as they try to bring that energy onto the field.

In a reel posted by Sanders, the Colorado coach addresses his team in the locker room. He says,

"You gotta want it. This is so significant because I cannot want this for you. Your coaches cannot want this for you. Your parents cannot want this for you."

Sanders had a tough talk with his team ahead of their spring game on April 27. It will be a test for Coach Prime and the Buffaloes who're coming off an abysmal 4-8 season, after winning three games on a trot at the start of the season.

"You want it, you gotta have a plan. You gotta work it. The want coincides with work."

Coach Prime then used the example of financial wealth to explain his point.

"Wealth don't just come. Wealth is more than rich. Wealth is just longevity. Wealth is consistency. Wealth is a real bag."

Deion Sanders wishes the best for five-star recruit after he enters spring transfer portal

The head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes shared his thoughts on Cormani McClain's decision to enter the spring transfer portal, offering his best wishes for the young cornerback's future endeavors.

“I pray to God that he goes to a program that challenges him as well as holds him accountable and develops him as a young man.”

While McClain leaves one of the hottest programs in college football since Coach Prime took over as head coach. Backing McClain for CFB success, the Colorado HC said,

“Go get it, man. Because he has a tremendous amount of talent, but he has to want it.”

Interestingly, Sanders wasn’t happy with McClain at the start of the 2023 CFB season. He even asked the cornerback to work on his discipline.

“Be on time for meetings. Show up to the darn meetings. Understand what we're doing as a scheme. Want to play this game. Desire to play this game. Desire to be the best in his game,” said Coach Prime.

The transfer portal has presented challenges for the Buffaloes, with McClain and Savion Washington opting to explore new opportunities. This development follows a December filled with transfers initiated by Sanders.
