“What you talking about”: Colorado stars Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders caught in heated argument during 2024 fall camp

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter are heating up the Colorado Buffaloes fall camp in more ways than one. Ahead of the 2024 season, tensions apparently flared between two of coach Deion Sanders' top stars.

The stress of flipping last season's 4-8 record has the Buffs on edge, and it all boiled over during a recent practice captured by “Well Off Media” on its YouTube channel. The friction began when the Buffaloes two-way star decided to go full throttle, only to find himself arguing with the team's QB1, Shedeur.

Hunter’s dual-threat capabilities are no joke, and he didn’t hesitate to urge Shedeur to improve his gameplay. When the Buffs quarterback asked him to stop drifting while making the run, Hunter said:

"I had a straight go. What you talking about?"

Agitated by the play not finding his WR, Shedeur said:

"I know that. So then after that, which way you looking?"
"I'm looking at you to see what you going to do," Hunter replied.
“If we on the same page and I already know what you going to do then just stop,” Shedeur said.

The two teammates then continued arguing about how they could make the best of each other's abilities.

Shedeur Sanders backs his offensive abilities

The 22-year-old quarterback is a core believer in his offensive capability. While the Buffaloes had a rocky season in 2023, Sanders had an amazing year in individual capacity, throwing 3,230 yards and registering 27 touchdowns. However, some fans still doubt his skills in the backfield.

On an episode of his podcast, “2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders,” Coach Prime’s son aimed at those skeptics.

“You got to understand, some people want to get the respect they deserve,” he said. “You could put all these guys in the same position I was in, and they couldn't do that.”

Shedeur didn’t stop there. He made it clear that public opinion doesn’t faze him:

“To the public, their opinion doesn't matter. They have no influence on people actually making the decision.”

Sanders knows that his performance speaks for itself, and he's not letting anyone question his talent.
