Brian Hartline once called Marvin Harrison Jr. "pretty boring"

Brian Hartline has produced several talented first-round NFL Draft picks like Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Garrett Wilson, Chris Olave and Marvin Harrison Jr.

Hartline gave an unusual compliment to the 2024 No. 4 overall pick while talking about him.

“He just wants to be the greatest receiver that has ever played,” Hartline said about Harrison Jr., as per Arizona Sports. “I don’t say that lightly. Literally, his goal is to be the best receiver to ever play a game. Not be a first-round pick, not be a Biletnikoff (Award) winner.
“When he says (he’s) chasing his dad, he means passing his dad (in production). He means passing everybody that played the position before him.”

Brian Hartline has been an influential figure on the Ohio State recruits, who have gone to the next level and shown their grit.

The Ohio State Buckeyes played against the Marshall Thundering Herd on September 21 and won by a 49-14 score. With eight years of coaching under his belt, Hartline and the Buckeyes will aim to win the national championship title this year after getting beaten by Michigan in 2023.
