Who is favored to win Georgia vs. Auburn? Head-to-head records, odds and more

The No. 5-ranked Georgia Bulldogs will face the Auburn Tigers in a Week 6 meeting between two SEC programs having quite different seasons. Georgia began the year with blowout victories over the then-No. 14-ranked Clemson Tigers and FCS-level Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles. It narrowly escaped a Week 3 trip to Lexington, kicking off conference play and beating the Kentucky Wildcats 13-12.

The Bulldogs suffered their first loss outside of the SEC Championship Game since November 2020 last weekend, falling 41-34 to the Alabama Crimson Tide in an early contender for Game of the Year. After falling behind 28-0, Georgia rallied back to tie the score with 2:31 remaining before Alabama answered with a 75-yard game-winning touchdown on the first play of the next drive.

Auburn began its season with a blowout win against the FCS-level Alabama A&M Bulldogs. However, it suffered a home loss against the California Golden Bears in Week 2. It bounced back with a blowout win against the New Mexico Lobos in its final game before kicking off SEC play.

The Tigers have struggled in conference play, which has plagued them in each of the past three seasons. Their SEC slate began with home matchups against the Arkansas Razorbacks and then-No. 21-ranked Oklahoma Sooners, both of which they lost.
