"Worst FIFA thus far": Deion Sanders Jr. Rips EA Sports FC to shreds after encountering issues in its gameplay features
Deion Sanders Jr. has taken a different path from the rest of his football playing family. While he played three years of college football as a wide receiver for the SMU Mustangs from 2013 to 2015, he did not have the same success as the rest of his family. Now, he has built a career in the fashion industry and as a video producer.
On Wednesday evening, Deion Sanders Jr. was in the news for criticizing the latest FIFA video game on X.
"I gotta retire EA Sports FC... Worst FIFA thus far," Sanders Jr. tweeted. "I can't handle my people constantly passing the ball to the wrong person."
This was an amusing Tweet that got a decent amount of traction on Wednesday night.
"Might be a skill issue," one commenter replied.
"Possibly... I might just be ass," Sanders Jr. responded.
What is Deion Sanders Jr. up to since retiring from football?
While Deion Sanders Jr.'s siblings are seeing success with the No. 16-ranked Colorado Buffaloes (8-2) this year, he retired from football nearly a decade ago. He was not a top prospect, and as a result, did not get the opportunity to play in the NFL like his brothers will likely have next season.
After retiring from football, Sanders Jr. moved from football to fashion. He launched the streetwear clothing brand "Well Off" in 2016. On his website, he wrote:
"I stopped playing football my junior year in college. I didn't go to 'the league. I had to find another way to 'ball' without sports ... I had to find another way to be creative and express myself. I had to find something else that I loved doing and that I could put my time into."
While Deion Sanders Jr. still has his clothing brand, he is also now a video producer for the Colorado Buffaloes. He recently spoke about how happy he has been to see the team play above what so-called experts expected them to do this season. The Buffaloes next play against the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday.
