"You ain't riding Rolls Royce plane": Deion Sanders Jr. fires shots at his haters by showing off CU's lavish ride to Alamo Bowl
Deion Sanders Jr. and the Colorado football team traveled to San Antonio in a stylish Rolls Royce plane ahead of Saturday's Alamo Bowl game against BYU. Deion Jr., who is growing as a content creator, shared some lavish moments from the journey on the custom jet.
In a YouTube episode released by his "Walk Off Media" channel on Wednesday, Deion Jr. clapped back at some of his haters while flaunting his mode of travel to San Antonio.
"Hey, you ain't riding Rolls Royce plane man." Deion Jr. said while shooting a video of the custom plane on the outside [4:14]. "Y'all boys don't got a Rolls Royce plane or whatever it's called."
Colorado finished the regular season with a 9-3 record (7-2 Big 12). The Buffs qualified for a bowl game for the first time since the 2020 season.
Since CU's upcoming matchup against BYU at the Alamodome will also be Coach Prime's first bowl game for the Buffs, Colorado's athletic director Rick George reportedly called for a custom plane to arrange the team's travel to Texas.
A few Colorado players have brought joy to the program this season. Two-way star Travis Hunter won several major accolades including the Heisman Trophy. Meanwhile, quarterback Shedeur Sanders was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year.
The decision to fly his CU players in a Rolls Royce plane to Texas was likely George's way of showing his appreciation for the team's efforts.
