This team has a lot of dynamic players, which will be helpful in the brutal SEC, and there are high expectations after being ranked sixth in the AP Preseason Poll.

Let's take a closer look at what we should be expecting out of the Ole Miss Rebels during the 2024 college football season.

Ole Miss's biggest games in the 2024 season

The Ole Miss Rebels might dominate throughout the regular season as the schedule has only three ranked opponents, according to the AP Preseason College Football Poll. Two of the toughest games, Georgia and Oklahoma, are at home so there should be some advantage, even though the games are two weeks apart. Here's the rest of the schedule for the Rebels 2024 season.

Key Ole Miss players to watch out for in the 2024 season

#1. Jaxson Dart, QB

Senior quarterback Jaxson Dart has been one of the top returning quarterbacks in college football and he should be able to continue to maintain that form. Dart finished the 2023 season going 233-of-358 for a completion rate of 65.1%. He threw for a total of 3,364 yards, with 23 touchdown passes, and only five interceptions. He also rushed 119 times for 391 yards, 3.3 yards per carry, and eight rushing touchdowns. This team has a lot of exciting players, but will go as far as Jaxson Dart does.

#2. Ulysses Bentley IV, RB

Senior running back Ulysses Bentley IV has been one of the top players in the offense, and is returning for a sixth season. Last year, he had 95 rushing attempts for 540 yards, 5.7 yards per carry, and four rushing touchdowns. He also had 11 catches for 87 yards, at 7.9 yards per reception, with one touchdown grab. He has failed to reach the heights from his 2020 season, but expect him to be a solid lead back for the team.

#3. Tre Harris, WR

Senior wide receiver Tre Harris has been doing well and is expected to be a massive target in the Rebels offense. He finished last year with 54 catches for 985 yards, 18.2 yards per reception, and eight receiving touchdowns. Harris is going to be a star for Ole Miss, and after back-to-back seasons that finished with 930 or more receiving yards, fans will expect to see him crack 1,000 receiving yards this season.

Ole Miss prediction for the 2024 season

The Ole Miss Rebels have a lot of experience on the roster. Outside of a four-game stretch with the LSU Tigers, Oklahoma Sooners, and the Georgia Bulldogs, not too many games are expected to be difficult.

The prediction for the 2024 Ole Miss Rebels is 10 wins and a serious chance to compete in the SEC Championship Game en route to the College Football Playoff.
