Ole Miss transfer portal tracker: All players who have entered portal after 2024 regular season
The Ole Miss Rebels have been very active in the transfer portal. Granted, it's early in the process, but Ole Miss is on pace to sign arguably the nation's best incoming portal class. But that's only half the story, as some Rebels are heading out as Ole Miss prepares for Duke and the Gator Bowl. Here's a rundown of the players heading out of Ole Miss in the portal.
Ole Miss transfer portal tracker: All players who have entered portal
Key Lawrence, S
A defensive back who has now played at Tennessee, Oklahoma and Ole Miss, Lawrence was a non-factor for the Rebels. In three seasons at Oklahoma, he had 149 tackles and three interceptions. But at Ole Miss, he played four games and had one tackle. He's got a single year of remaining eligibility.
Micah Pettus, T
A three-year standout at Ole Miss, Pettus may ultimately enter the NFL draft. But for now, the three-year starter has placed his name in the portal. He started 29 games in his Rebel career and will be heavily sought-after if he decides to play another college football season.
Rodney Groce Jr., LB
Groce transferred in from Texas to San Antonio. He had 11 tackles and a pass breakup in 2023. Groce was injured and didn't see any action with the Rebels. He indicated that he's unsure whether he has two or three remaining seasons of football eligibility.
Jack Mills, OL
Mill, an offensive lineman who didn't see any significant action at Ole Miss, should have two seasons of remaining eligibility ahead of him. The 6-foot-4, 320-pound standout from Massachusetts will be interesting to watch.
Walker Howard, QB
Howard, once a highly touted QB prospect in 2022, has seen limited action after a year at LSU and two at Ole Miss, attempting just 10 passes in his collegiate career.
Howard's career hasn't quite regained the arc from when a newly hired Brian Kelly danced with him in his commitment video. He's got two years of remaining eligibility.
Kavion Broussard, T
A class of 2024 recruit who flipped from Miami to Ole Miss just before Signing Day, Broussard didn't see meaningful time. He will be able to redshirt and retain four years of athletic eligibility.
Mana Taimani, T
A two-year Rebel, Taimani came in from Wyoming and Diablo Valley College. He redshirted in 2024 and will have two seasons of eligibility remaining at his next stop.
Cam East, OL
After three seasons at Ole Miss, East never saw any game action. He'll have two years to play at his next school. East was expected to be a tackle out of high school, but his future may be playing inside.
Rashad Amos, RB
Amos has had an interesting run. He started at South Carolina, where he had 106 rushing yards on 20 carries in two seasons. He then went to Miami of Ohio, where he rushed for 1,075 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2023. But in 2024 at Ole Miss, Amos got just nine carries all season. He'll have a year of remaining eligibility and will doubtlessly look to return to his 2023 form.
