Patriots star Jonathan Jones flaunts Deion Sanders' Nike boots, gets a shout-out from Coach Prime himself
Even when the Colorado Buffaloes are not on the field for a college football game, they are still making headlines. New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones recently posted an Instagram story recently about receiving the Deion Sanders' Nike Diamond Turf 96 TD cleats.
However, it did not take too long before Coach Prime would repost it onto his own story, earlier today. The Nike Diamond Turf 96 TD cleats are currently on sale for $220 while the sneaker version is listed at $170.
Do not be surprised to see more athletes rocking these shoes and coach Deion Sanders showcasing it on his social media feed.
Can Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes make the College Football Playoff?
The Colorado Buffaloes continue to climb the AP Poll as they are now ranked 21 in the nation with their 6-2 (4-1 Big 12) record. The team has already clinched bowl eligibility.
They are third in the Big 12 Conference standings, meaning they are a game out of being in the Big 12 Conference Championship Game, with four regular-season games left to go.
The Colorado Buffaloes have the following to wrap up the regular schedule:
- 11/9: at Texas Tech Red Raiders
- 11/16: vs Utah Utes
- 11/23: at Kansas Jayhawks
- 11/29: vs Oklahoma State Cowboys
If they win out, they would need the Iowa State Cyclones to lose to make the Big 12 Championship Game. However, they can still make it as an at-large bid. With the College Football Playoff expanding to 12 teams this year, there are seven at-large bids for teams to make.
The Colorado Buffaloes have an excellent college football program and have done well in all three facets of the game. With quarterback Shedeur Sanders throwing the football well and having stars all over the field, they are going to be in a great position to dominate and climb the AP Poll. Also, they will be in the College Football Playoff decision-makers' minds.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, the Colorado Buffaloes are +200 to make the College Football Playoff and compete for the national championship with Deion Sanders leading the way.
