Purdue transfer portal tracker: All the players who have entered the portal after the 2024 season
Ryan Walters and Purdue had a disastrous 2024 season, leading to a massive transfer portal exodus. A 1-11 mark barely explains how awful the year was. Walters has been fired and Purdue has hired Barry Odom. Here's the rundown on the Boilermakers players leaving the program.

Botros Alisandro, S
A JUCO addition, Alisandro has had two solid seasons at Purdue. He has made 50 tackles and broken up five passes, including an interception. He'll have one season of eligibility left.
Jahmal Edrine, WR
A transfer from Florida Atlantic, Edrine caught 23 passes for 365 yards for the Boilermakers in 2024. With two years of eligibility left, he was Purdue's second most productive receiver before entering the portal.
Jalen Grant, OL
Grant was a transfer from Bowling Green and started for two seasons at Purdue. He'll have a single year of eligibility elsewhere.
Kyndrich Breedlove, CB
Breedlove will be looking for a fourth school. He started at Ole Miss, moved on to Colorado, and in 2024, had 40 tackles and three interceptions at Purdue. He has one year of eligibility left.
Keelan Crimmins, P
Crimmins punted for Mississippi State in 2023 and Purdue in 2024. He started and did credible work at each school, averaging 43.1 yards per punt. He'll have two years of remaining eligibility.
Drew Biber, TE
A four-year Boilermaker, Biber caught 15 total passes, with 13 of those coming in 2024. He's got a year of football left and has committed to Minnesota.
Max Klare, TE
A three-year Purdue player, Klare exploded in 2024, catching 51 passes for 685 yards and four touchdowns. With two seasons of remaining eligibility, Klare will be a much-heralded portal addition.
Joseph Jefferson II, S
In three years at Purdue, Jefferson had grown into a bigger role. In 2024, he had 31 tackles including a pair of tackles for loss. He'll have two more seasons to play.
Tarrion Grant, CB
Grant was a highly-regarded recruit. He played in 2024 as a true freshman. Grant had 13 tackles and a pair of passes broken up, and figures to have plenty of portal interest.
Will Heldt, Edge
Heldt made massive strides in 2024 as a sophomore. He posted 56 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and five sacks. He's got two years of remaining eligibility.
Leland Smith, WR
A JUCO addition, Smith had two touchdowns among his six catches in 2024 at Purdue. He's got two remaining years of eligibility.
Jaron Tibbs, WR
Tibbs played two years at Purdue and snagged 25 catches for 305 yards in 2024. He's got two more years ahead of him.
Marcos Davila, QB
A four-star recruit, Davila didn't play in his only season at Purdue. If he does transfer, he'll do so with a full slate of remaining eligibility of four years.
Dillon Thieneman, S
After a pair of 100+ tackle seasons, Thieneman has already announced he's transferring to Oregon with two years to play. He has 210 tackles and six interceptions to his credit and has a likely NFL future ahead.
Cole Brevard, DL
After a season at Penn State, Brevard transferred to Purdue, where he has spent three seasons. In total, he has 38 tackles, nine tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. Brevard has a single season to play. He has committed to Texas.
Ryan Browne, QB
Browne spent two seasons at Purdue. He played in just one game in 2023. In total, he has thrown for 636 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. Browne has three remaining seasons.
Yanni Karlaftis, LB
An outstanding linebacker, Karlaftis posted 55 and 57 tackles in the last two seasons. He has a single year of eligibility remaining after spending four seasons at Purdue.
Anthony Boswell, OL
A one-year attendee of Purdue, Boswell retains his full four years of eligibility in the portal.
Koy Beasley, S
Beasley was a big-time recruit but played in just two games at Purdue. He'll thus retain four seasons of eligibility in the portal.
Mahamane Moussa, OL
A three-year starter on the offensive line, Moussa was not in the portal long before he committed to Louisville. He'll be a Cardinal for his remaining season of eligibility.
Derrick Rogers, WR
Rogers was at Purdue for two seasons. He had six tackles and broke up three passes in 2023, but barely saw the field in 2024. He has three remaining years to play.
Jamari Payne, Edge
Payne spent a single season at Purdue and didn't see any game action. Accordingly, his new portal team will get a full slate of four years of eligibility for Payne.
Tayvion Galloway, TE
Galloway also spent only one season at Purdue and will retain his full slate of eligibility.
