“Sh*t weird as hell”: Deion Sanders’ eldest son Bucky goes on a rant amid criticism on social media

Deion Sanders' eldest son, Bucky, had some words for a social media user on X (formerly known as Twitter). Bucky initially made a throwback post on his X handle, saying:

"Nothing has changed. They just didn’t care when we did it amongst ourselves #ThrowbackThursday."

However, a fan responded with a bevy of negative comments. One particular reply caught Bucky's attention.

"Why yall keep our name in yall mouth!! We good over here @ home where we can be us !!!!" a fan wrote to Sanders Jr.

Bucky took exception to this and replied:

"Bro that’s our history…. It’s literally part of my/our story. None of us would be here today without that part of our history. You want a person to forget about the last 3 years of their lives…. Sh*t weird as hell"

How did Deion Sanders perform in his first season in Colorado?

Deion Sanders was appointed as the head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes after a stint with the Jackson State Tigers. Sanders came into the 2023 season with loads of expectations, as the team boasted two of the most talented offensive collegiate players, Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter.

The Colorado Buffaloes started the season on a tear, pulling off three consecutive victories to put college football on notice. However, it turned out to be a flash in the pan, as the Buffaloes lost all but one of their last nine games of the 2023 college football season.

Hence, the Colorado Buffaloes finished the first season of coach Prime's tenure with a 4-8 record.

What to expect from Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes in 2024?

Deion Sanders was vocal about his disappointment in how the 2023 season panned out for the Colorado Buffaloes. Hence, it wasn't surprising that the Buffaloes went on a recruiting spree to prepare for Coach Prime's second season.

The Buffaloes welcomed former Vanderbilt quarterback Walter Taylor III, ex-TCU pass catcher Cordale Russell, former Cincinnati tight end Chamon Metayer, and more. The program also beefed up its offensive line, adding Kahlil Benson (Indiana), Tyler Johnson (Houston), Justin Mayers (UTEP), and Yakiri Walker (Connecticut).

This recruitment should help the Colorado Buffaloes win more games in 2024 and make some noise with the new CFB postseason format.
