"Shocking" "That changes next year": CFB world reacts to Deion Sanders' Colorado players not being able to make NFL Draft 2024

The 2024 NFL draft has officially concluded and we saw 257 players take their football careers to the next level and enter the National Football League.

However, there were zero players drafted from the Colorado Buffaloes for the third consecutive year. The last member to get drafted out of the University of Colorado was offensive tackle William Sherman in the sixth round of the 2021 draft by the New England Patriots.

Yahoo Sports used a picture of Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders and said that this is the third year in a row that a player from the program has gone undrafted.

People commented on the above post and talked about how things in Boulder will change this season and have players getting drafted in the 2024 NFL draft.

"They're all coming back for their senior season because of Deion. They were all freshmen before. Next year they'll surely have at least 33 people drafted." One fan said .
"Prime only been there a year" one user said.
"Wait till next szn, when he actually has more than a year" another user added.

One user found it surprising and commented:

Some other users used this as a chance to pull a joke on Yahoo Sports' expense, saying:

"For 10 straight years yahoo failed to beat google!" One user commented.

While the tweet is a little misleading as Deion Sanders entering his second season coaching the Colorado Buffaloes. There are a lot of players who are eligible for the 2025 NFL draft so it will be interesting to see if this streak continues.

What should we expect out of the Colorado Buffaloes in the 2024 college football season?

The Colorado Buffaloes had their Black and Gold Game on Saturday afternoon. While Deion Sanders did everything but guarantee a bowl game to the crowd, the Buffs looked a lot better than the program did last season with their four wins.

Colorado significantly improved their offensive line by signing offensive tackle Jordan Seaton as well as improving defensively. Entering the Big 12 Conference this upcoming college football season, the Buffs will be in a better position to win at least six games and make the bowl season.

With an excellent quarterback in Shedeur Sanders having more protection as well as a great slot receiver in LaJohntay Webster, this offense should dominate. The defense also improved and it's time to expect a leap in secong year of the coach Prime era.
