"Such a superstar" - When Coach Prime's ex-wife Pilar Sanders gushed over daughter Shelomi as she gave an interview at Folsom Field
Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders' ex-wife Pilar regularly visits Boulder to support sons Shilo and Shedeur as they adapt to life at the FBS level. Sanders also attends daughter Shelomi's games when she plays for the Lady Buffs. However, Shelomi Sanders does not get much game time.
Last year, when Pilar Sanders attended a Colorado football game with her daughter, a Buffs fan opted to interview Shelomi during the game. Her mother captured the moment with her camera.
She reposted the clip on Instagram in which she praised her daughter.
"She's such a superstar," Pilar Sanders said.

Pilar Sanders has always been in Shelomi's corner
Shelomi Sander's career as a player for the Colorado Lady Buffs stalled even as her brothers Shilo and Shedeur flourished in the FBS. Because Shelomi only played eleven minutes spread over five games, she made the terrible decision to enter the transfer portal in April.
Her decision was not well received by her father, Deion Sanders. He rubbished his daughter's decision during an interview on "DVNR Buffs."
"(It) was stupid," Coach Prime said. "You don't enter the portal. You get a team before you enter the portal. You kinda get a team before you enter the portal. You know, that's what I would advise a child. And I know, 'Well it's illegal...' C'mon, man."
In a clip posted on Instagram, Pilar Sanders gave a scathing summary of Coach Prime's reaction to Shelomi entering the transfer portal. She even suggested that the charismatic Colorado coach supported some of his children more than he did their daughter.
“When a child, a young adult, decides to step out on their own and even taking advice, not even in an arrogant way, not in a disrespectful way, but looking out for their own life, looking out for their own career, and doing what’s best to be done, the girl wants to play ball," Pilar said. "How about supporting somebody else? We know you have your favorites. We all know that; we’ve all seen it throughout life,” she said.
Even after Shelomi Sanders moved to Alabama, Pilar continued to show her support by posting Shelomi's exploits as an A&M Bulldogs player on social media.
