Texas players in DraftKings Lineup today: Which Longhorns players you should have in Week 3?

The Texas Longhorns have made a big splash in just two games in the 2024-25 college football season. Coming off their 31-12 win over the Michigan Wolverines in Week 2, the Longhorns will square off against the UTSA Roadrunners today.

In a game where Texas opens as a 36-point favorite, the Longhorns offense is likely to be firing on all cylinders with the potential for several big performances for DraftKings Fantasy players.

Here are three Texas players to add to your DraftKings Fantasy lineup for Week 3.

Three Texas players for your Week 3 DraftKings Lineup

Quinn Ewers, QB ($9,200)

The price tag isn't small, but the risk is. Against a lower-tier opponent, Quinn Ewers is likely to continue his dominant play, which has been displayed in the first two games.

While there may not be much rushing upside with this pick, Ewers protects his points by taking care of the ball. He's viable to toss three touchdowns with 250-plus yards this game.

Expect his two-game streak of 20 fantasy points or more to continue in Week 3.

Jaydon Blue, RB ($6,600)

While most fantasy players like to stay away from committee backfields, the Texas backfield is a different story. With three home-run hitters in their backfield, the major separator for Jaydon Blue is his receiving upside.

With nine receptions in the first two games, Blue has taken up the majority of the receiving volume in the Texas backfield. Given his immense upside as a rusher, along with his pass-catching volume, Blue is a no-brainer pick this week.

Isaiah Bond, WR ($6,600)

Similar to their backfield, the Texas receiving core could be considered a pick-your-poison-type group. Despite only notching eight receptions in their first two matchups, Isaiah Bond is making his receptions count, averaging 14.0 yards per reception.

In a game where three different receivers could catch a touchdown pass, we'll take Bond due to the low-risk factor with major upside as the Longorns' number-one receiver.
