10. Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky

As a junior, Hairston was second-team all-SEC last year. The 6-foot-1 CB has seven tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in 2024. Many offenses have just stopped throwing at the talented cornerback from Kentucky.

9. Aydan White, NC State

White missed the Louisiana Tech game, but State will be glad to get him back against Clemson. A three-year starter now, he has 12 tackles and an interception in 2024. The 6-foot White is speedy and experienced.

8. Shavon Revel, East Carolina

A JUCO product who played well last year, Revel has eight tackles and a pair of interceptions in the young 2024 season. Last year, he ended up with 55 tackles and 11 passes broken up. At 6-foot-3, Revel is an unusually tall CB who uses his size to help on deep balls.

7. Xavier Scott, Illinois

Scott is a junior in his second year as a starter. Last season, he had 57 tackles and 11 pass breakups. So far this season, he has a dozen stops, a sack and three interceptions, tying him for second most in the nation.

6. Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame

Now a junior, Morrison has been a starter all three years at ND. He was a phenomenal freshman with six interceptions, and he broke up 10 more passes last year. Off to a slow start this year, Morrison has nine tackles and a pass breakup.

5. Nohl Williams, California

A 6-foot-1 senior, Williams picked off two passes last year. But in the first three games of 2024, Williams leads the nation with four interceptions and has broken up three more passes. Teams will likely stop throwing his way, but it's been a great start for Williams.

4. Cobee Bryant, Kansas

Already a two-time first-team All-Big 12 pick, Bryant is a true standout CB. Like his team, he's off to a slow start, with six tackles and one pass breakup. But Kansas will lean heavily on Bryant this week at West Virginia.

3. Denzel Burke, Ohio State

The 6-foot-1 senior is a rare four-year starter at Ohio State. OSU was off this past week, but Burke and the Buckeyes will get back to action. Burke has four tackles and an interception in his team's first two games.

2. Will Johnson, Michigan

The 6-foot-2 Johnson has established himself as a lockdown, so much so that teams rarely pass in the vicinity of this talented cornerback. So far this season, Johnson has 10 tackles and has broken up three passes, including an interception. He's an NFL star in the making.

1. Travis Hunter, Colorado

The 6-foot-1 Hunter does everything at Colorado. At cornerback, Hunter has 11 tackles and a trio of pass breakups, including an interception. He had 30 tackles and three picks last year, and the only limit on him this season is defenses avoiding him in coverage.
