The transfer portal will be included in the game for the first time, allowing users to recruit players who have entered the portal.

Here are some of the most underrated players in College Football 25 that users should attempt to recruit if their name pops up in the transfer portal.

Top 10 most underrated players to recruit in College Football 25

#10. Jackson Gilkey, QB

Jackson Gilkey hasn't yet played a snap for UTSA. But the 6-foot-3 redshirt freshman has one of the strongest arms in the game. He has an arm strength rating of 95, which puts him at the same rating as top QBs such as Tyler Van Dyke and Conner Weigman.

#9. Colin Coates, DL

Charlotte's Colin Coates could be a great underrated recruit to bring in from the transfer portal in College Football 25. As a freshman in 2023, Coates appeared in five games, making 14 total tackles, including two tackles for loss.

#8. Matthew McDoom, CB

Users looking to upgrade their secondary from the transfer portal with a player who has flown under the radar can watch for Coastal Carolina CB Matthew McDoom. McDoom has 43 career tackles in two seasons and broke up 10 passes last season.

Freshman Jelani Watkins will join the LSU Tigers this season and has one of the highest speed ratings in the game. Watkins has a 98 speed rating and could be a top recruit from the transfer portal.
