Ohio State Buckeyes
The Ohio State Buckeyes are one of the premier teams in college football. With the Michigan Wolverines now having a significant change with coach Sherrone Moore taking over, the Buckeyes are the top dogs in the Big Ten Conference.
They have essentially two head coaches with Chip Kelly joining as the offensive coordinator. With the addition of quarterback Will Howard, they have an experienced quarterback with serious weapons and a vaunted defense. So, they should be in the running for a national title.
Texas Longhorns
The Texas Longhorns may have lost running back CJ Baxter for the regular season but they still have an incredible roster that should be competitive. The program made the College Football Playoff last season and they have a lot of speed with its receiving core.
Quinn Ewers is one of the top quarterbacks in the nation and should be able to be a star throughout the year. However, even if the team has to have the backup quarterback get action, the Longhorns have Arch Manning waiting in the wings.
