Top 5 colleges with the most NFL Draft 2024 picks ft. Washington, LSU and Alabama

The first round of the 2024 NFL draft has ended, and we have seen a lot of quality talent taken off the board. Six different programs saw multiple players taken in the first 32 selections. But which college football programs selected the most players?

#5: Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs selected two players in their programs. They were one of six programs with multiple players drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. The first player was tight end Brock Bowers as the Oakland Raiders took him with the 13th pick.

The other player coming out of the University of Georgia was offensive tackle Amarius Mims, who Nick Saban ripped on the ESPN College Gameday broadcast.

#4: Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions were among the teams to see multiple first-round selections in the 2024 NFL draft. Penn State's first player drafted was offensive tackle Olu Fashanu as the New York Jets took him with the 11th selection.

The other player will likely be up against Fashanu as they will play in the same division. With the 21st pick in the 2024 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins drafted edge rusher Chop Robinson.

#3: Alabama Crimson Tide

The Alabama Crimson Tide had three players who were drafted on Thursday night. The first player was offensive tackle JC Latham, the Tennessee Titans' seventh overall pick.

Their next draftee was 10 picks later, edge rusher Dallas Turner. The Minnesota Vikings took him to add to quarterback J.J. McCarthy in the first round. The third and final Roll Tide player drafted in the first round was cornerback Terrion Arnold as the Detroit Lions moved up to grab him.

#2: LSU Tigers

The LSU Tigers also saw three players drafted during the first round. The first was reigning Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels. He was selected second overall by the Washington Commanders.

They also had the second wide receiver off the board as Malik Nabers was the sixth pick by the New York Giants. The Tigers also saw Brian Thomas Jr. selected 23rd overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

#1: Washington Huskies

The Washington Huskies had three different players selected in the first round. Their first two selections went back-to-back. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. (Atlanta Falcons) and wide receiver Rome Odunze (Chicago Bears) were selected eighth and ninth, respectively.

They also had an offensive lineman selected toward the middle of the round. Offensive guard Troy Fautanu was drafted 20th overall (Pittsburgh Steelers).
