Top 5 QBs in EA Sports College Football 25 ft. Colorado star Shedeur Sanders
EA Sports College Football 25 has released the ratings of the top 100 players. The ratings for the quarterbacks in college football are also now known and there are discussions that could go on about where players are ranked. Let's take a deeper dive into the top five QBs in EA Sports College Football 25.
Top 5 QBs in EA Sports College Football 25
#5 Jalen Milroe, Alabama Crimson Tide (90)
The Alabama Crimson Tide have a strong quarterback in Jalen Milroe and he has done well, especially after being benched at the beginning of the 2023 season.
Milroe finished last season going 187-of-284 (65.8%) for 2,834 yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions, while also running in for 12 touchdowns.
His ability to extend plays with his legs and the ability to tuck the ball and run will make things a lot better for him as a player. Milroe does not put the ball in questionable situations. So, his accuracies are going to be top-tier and makes sense for his rating.
#4 Quinn Ewers, Texas Longhorns (92)
If there is one quarterback whose rating seems a bit low, Texas Longhorns' Quinn Ewers is the one to target. Ewers has been the starting quarterback for the program for the last two seasons and saw a significant improvement in every sense of the word.
Last season, he finished 272-of-394 (69.0%) for 3,479 yards with 22 touchdowns to six interceptions. His health could be the biggest cause for concern as he has missed multiple games in each season. But Ewers has arguably the most talent of any quarterback on this list.
#3 Dillion Gabriel, Oklahoma Sooners (92)
The Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Dillon Gabriel has been consistently great. He is 266-of-384 (69.3%) for 3,660 yards with 30 touchdowns to six interceptions.
While he could be fourth or fifth on this list, Gabriel deserves to be in the top five without question. His 87.0 QBR was fourth in college football a year ago and this should be a great player to use. His progressive ratings will be great to see if he climbs up the rankings.
#2 Carson Beck, Georgia Bulldogs (93)
The quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs is tied for the best rating in college football. Carson Beck had one of the best seasons for a quarterback as he finished 302-of-417 (72.4%) for 3,941 yards with 24 touchdowns and six interceptions.
His 86.0 QBR was also fifth in NCAAF as well. His arm talent should make Beck one of the best pocket quarterbacks as he has shown the ability to be one of the most accurate throwers of the football also.
#1 Shedeur Sanders, Colorado Buffaloes (93)
Shedeur Sanders is the highest-rated quarterback heading into the release of EA Sports College Football 25. He has a lot of excitement surrounding his play this season as he finished 298-of-430 (69.3%) for 3,230 yards with 27 passing touchdowns to three interceptions in 2023.
His play from Jacksonville State to Colorado has shown the ability that he would not be overmatched. While this rating feels a bit too high as Shedeur Sanders is not the best quarterback in the country, his ability to use his legs as well as his arm makes him an outstanding prospect.
