If you want to pick a team in the SEC, here are five teams with great depth at the quarterback position.
#1 Texas Longhorns
The Longhorns are the deepest quarterback team in the conference, starting with Quinn Ewers, the second-highest-ranked SEC QB in CFB 25. Texas also has another former five-star recruit in Arch Manning as the backup. On top of that, the Longhorns have freshman Trey Owens as the third-stringer.
#2 Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia has the highest-rated SEC quarterback in CFB 25 with Carson Beck. He has a 93 overall rating and is the 18th highest-rated player in the entire game. However, the Bulldogs are ranked below the Longhorns because limited depth at the QB position. Gunner Stockton is a solid option, but at 80 overall, he's 7 points lower than the Longhorns backup. Georgia also has freshman Ryan Puglisi as a third option.

Alabama has a high-ranked quarterback with a 90 overall rating in Jalen Milroe. Their backup is TJ Simpson, who is a solid option in the event of an injury. The depth at Ole Miss is not as strong, with a steep drop off before reaching 76 overall, Austin Simmons. Fortunately, the Rebels have two more young options in AJ Maddox and Braden Waterman.
#5 LSU Tigers
LSU doesn't have a stand-out option that the other four teams on this list have, but the team has very strong depth. Garrett Nussmeier is the starter with a rating of 85 overall. He is a solid choice, but if he falters, the Tigers have a deep roster. AJ Swann and Rickie Collins have overall ratings of 78 and 77 respectively. Colin Hurley, a good young player, is also available.
