Take a look at ten names that could go early in the first round and how their draft stock is trending in the early portion of the 2024 college football season.

Updated 2025 NFL Mock Draft after Week 2 of college football

#1: Shedeur Sanders

Shedeur Sanders has garnered plenty of attention entering his senior season of college football. In two games, the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback has thrown for 689 yards, five touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 68.1% of his pass attempts. After a tough Week 2 performance against the Nebraska Cornhuskers, his stock has taken a slight hit.

#2: Quinn Ewers

Quinn Ewers has had a strong start to the season, throwing for 506 yards, six touchdowns and just one interception while completing 69.8% of his pass attempts. The Texas Longhorns quarterback had a big game against the Michigan Wolverines, who have one of the nation's top defenses, boosting his draft stock ahead of SEC play.

#3: Carson Beck

Carson Beck has gotten off to a great start under center for the Georgia Bulldogs, throwing for 520 yards, seven touchdowns and no interceptions while completing 70.7% of his pass attempts. His draft stock continues to rise after a strong outing against the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles.

#4: Travis Hunter

Travis Hunter has been great on both sides of the ball. The Colorado Buffaloes two-way star has caught 17 passes for 242 yards and three touchdowns. He has also recorded six total tackles, 1.0 tackles for loss and one pass defended. His draft stock remains steady as he will likely be the first non-quarterback off the board.

#5: Will Johnson

Will Johnson has also played well to begin the 2024 college football season. The Michigan Wolverines cornerback has recorded six total tackles, one interception which he returned for an 86-yard touchdown, and one pass defended to start the season. He will likely be the first secondary player off the board, aside from Travis Hunter, who plays both sides of the ball.

#6: James Pearce Jr.

James Pearce Jr. has had a slow start to the season. The Tennessee Volunteers edge rusher has recorded just one total tackle and 0.5 tackles for loss over the first two games. His stock has not begun to slip yet, but he will need to turn things around if he hopes to be the first pass rusher off the board.

#7: Will Campbell

Will Campbell has played well in the early portion of the season. The LSU Tigers offensive tackle has not allowed a sack across the first two games. He is projected to be the first offensive lineman selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

#8: Malaki Starks

Malaki Starks has had a strong start for the Georgia Bulldogs. The safety has recorded three total tackle and one interception in the early portion of the season. He has the opportunity to make a big rise if he continues to play well.

#9: Mason Graham

Mason Graham has had a solid start in the first two games. The Michigan Wolverines defensive tackle has recorded seven total tackles and 0.5 tackles for loss across the first two games. He will need to continue his production if he hopes to be the first defensive tackle selected.

#10: Mykel Williams

Mykel Williams has also played well to start the season. The Georgia Bulldogs edge rusher has recorded two total tackles, both solo tackles for a loss, in the first two weeks. He will look to overtake James Pearce Jr. as the first pass rusher selected.
