Carson Beck, Georgia (+750)

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck leads the early 2024 Heisman Trophy odds as he prepares to return for his fifth season with the Bulldogs.

Beck is expected to be one of the top players in all of college football during the upcoming season and lead Georgia to their third title in the four latest seasons.

Year 2023 was Beck's first season as the Bulldogs' full-time starter. He started in all 14 games last season and led the SEC in completions and passing yards.

He completed 72.4% of his passes and finished with 3,941 yards and 24 touchdowns, leading Georgia to a 13-1 record and a 63-3 Orange Bowl victory over Florida State.

Quinn Ewers, Texas (+800)

Quinn Ewers is another returning quarterback who ranks near the top of the 2024 Heisman Trophy odds. The Longhorns QB earned second-team All-Big 12 honors last season, throwing for 3,479 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Ewers and the Longhorns will be facing a new batch of fierce competition this season as they move from the Big 12 to the SEC. The top two early Heisman Trophy odds leaders, Ewers and Carson Beck, are set for a matchup on October 19.

This contest of the top quarterbacks could have major implications on which player earns an edge to take home the trophy.

Dillon Gabriel, Oregon (+900)

Dillon Gabriel is expected to have an electric season in 2024 after transferring from Oklahoma to Oregon. Gabriel earned second-team All-Big 12 honors last season with the Sooners following a 3,660-yard, 30-touchdown campaign.

He now joins head coach Dan Lanning in Eugene as the successor to Bo Nix, who finished third in Heisman voting last season.

Jalen Milroe, Alabama (+1000)

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe finished sixth in Heisman voting last season and is expected to once again be a finalist for the award in 2024.

Milroe started in 13 of Alabama's 14 games last season and proved himself a dominant dual-threat quarterback. He finished last season with 3,365 yards of total offense and 35 touchdowns.

Milroe will get a chance to prove himself as a top Heisman candidate this season when he meets up with odds leader Carson Beck and the Georgia Bulldogs on September 28.

Will Howard, Ohio State (+1400)

Former Kansas State quarterback Will Howard has emerged as a top-five Heisman Trophy candidate following his transfer to Ohio State for the upcoming season. Howard will lead an electric Buckeyes offense that is loaded with talent at every position.

Howard played at Kansas State for the previous four seasons, where, in 34 games, he amassed 5,786 yards and 48 touchdowns. Last season, he led the Wildcats to an 8-4 regular season record and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.

Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss (+1500)

Jaxson Dart will return to Ole Miss in 2024 for his fourth season of college football. The 6-2 quarterback began his career at USC in 2021, where he appeared in six games, making three starts.

Following Caleb Williams' transfer from Oklahoma to join Lincoln Riley at USC, Dart would depart and find a new home at Ole Miss.

Dart has made 25 starts in two seasons for the Rebels and has thrown for a career-high 3,364 yards and 23 touchdowns last season. Dart will return as the Rebels starter this season alongside his top targets from 2023, Tre Harris and Jordan Watkins.
