Utah Transfer Portal Tracker: All players who have entered the transfer portal after the 2024 season

After a disappointing 2024 season, the Utah Utes are losing many players to the college transfer portal. Even the best teams are losing players, so after a 5-7 season like Utah had, it's only natural that plenty of players are seeking to move on.

Vili Taufatofua, DL

A JUCO recruit, Taufatofua didn't see much time at Utah, playing only a game. He's moving on with two remaining years of eligibility.

Sione Fotu, LB

Fotu had an odd path at Utah. He played briefly in 2020 but took a two-year mission trip before returning to Utah in 2023. In the last two years, he had 37 tackles and made three starts. Fotu has two years of remaining eligibility.

Jack Bouwmeester, P

Bouwmeester started his career at Michigan State in 2019. He played just one game and spent two years on a mission trip. He has played for Utah the past three seasons and has averaged a solid 43.6 yards per punt. Bouwmeester has committed to Texas for his final season of college.

CJ Jacobsen, TE

A top tight end prospect from Idaho, Jacobsen didn't see any game action in two seasons at Utah. Accordingly, he retained three years of eligibility.

Sam Huard, QB

Huard has had a lengthy path here. He played briefly at Washington in 2021 and 2022 and spent 2023 at Cal Poly, where he passed for 2,247 yards and 18 touchdowns.

He transferred to Utah, but never saw the field for the Utes, in part due to injury. Huard has got a year of remaining eligibility at his next portal school.

Isaac Wilson, QB

Wilson started for much of the 2024 season after injuries to QB Cam Rising. For the season, he threw for 1,510 yards and 10 touchdowns against 11 interceptions in his freshman season. He will have three seasons of eligibiity left.

Josh Calvert, LB

Calvert played sparingly in four seasons at Utah, ending up with five career tackles, including one tackle for loss. He has got a year left at his next school.

A well-decorated QB recruit from California, Rose sat for two seasons but played briefly in 2024. He completed 19 of 36 passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions. Rose has got two more seasons to play.

John Randle Jr., RB

Randle spent two seasons at Utah as a running back first and then as a cornerback. He saw little action in either spot, carrying twice for three yards in 2023 and making six tackles on defense in 2024. Randle has three years of eligibility left to make his mark.

Simote Pepa, DL

A massive defensive tackle, Pepa has seen less time since his 2022 season, when he had 27 tackles and four sacks as a redshirt freshman. He had 10 tackles in 2024 and will have one remaining season of eligibility.

Damien Alford, WR

A wide receiver transfer from Syracuse, Alford caught 67 passes for 1,291 yards and seven touchdowns over four seasons with the Orange. He didn't catch a pass for the Utes in 2024 and will try another spot for his final college season.

Anthony Woods, RB

Woods transferred in from Idaho, where he rushed for 2,027 yards between 2022 and 2023. Injuries slowed Woods and Utah, and he never saw game action but has now opted for the portal with two seasons left.

Kaeo Akana, DE

A prospect who barely saw the field in two seasons with the Utes, Akana has one career tackle but will have three more seasons to play after his portal team selection.

Dijon Stanley, RB

In two seasons at Utah, Stanley ended up with 26 carries for 67 yards. He will have three remaining years of eligibility.

CJ Blocker, CB

Jaylon Glover, RB

In three seasons at Utah, Glover had steadily gained playing time until 2024. Injuries and disciplinary issues sidelined Glover for much of the season. He rushed for 982 yards and six scores in his Utah career and will have two years of eligibility left in the portal.
