What radio station is the Tennessee vs. Ohio State game on today? Details on CFP football game coverage
The No. 8 Ohio State Buckeyes of Ryan Day will host the No. 9 Tennessee Volunteers at 8:00 p.m. ET at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday. The game between the No. 8 and No. 9 schools in the nation is the most awaited game of this weekend and is expected to be the closest one in the first round of the College Football Playoff.
The game will be just the second encounter between both schools, with the only prior encounter being a 20-14 Buckeyes victory in the 1996 Citrus Bowl. This will be the Buckeyes' sixth appearance on the CFP, while for Tennessee it will be their inaugural participation.
The winner of this encounter will face an uphill battle in the CFP quarterfinal round, as they will have to face the No. 1 Oregon Ducks at the Rose Bowl, in Pasadena, on Jan. 1.
As usual, the game will be available for listening on Sirius XM. Channel 84 will have Ohio State's broadcast, and channel 82 will carry Tennessee's.
The Buckeyes are favored by seven points by the bookies, while ESPN's game predictor is giving the Volunteers only a 34.7% chance of winning the encounter. Both schools share a 10-2 regular season record, and both also failed to make their conference's championship game.
