Spencer Rattler opened up about why he decided to leave Oklahoma
In an interview with ESPN last year, Spencer Rattler opened up about the factors that influenced his decision to exit Oklahoma in 2021. While Caleb Williams taking over as starting QB is one of the reasons, he also called his time with the program "toxic".
"A lot of guys don't get another chance, to start over where they really wanted," Rattler said. "I was just happy to get away from a toxic situation and get somewhere new. Anywhere was going to be better, and I found the right place."
It will be interesting to see how far Spencer Rattler can take the Gamecocks in his fifth season of college football.
