Braedyn Locke, QB

Locke started at QB for the Badgers after Tyler Van Dyke's early injury. He played in five games in 2023 and 11 games in 2024. In total, Locke passed for 2,713 yards, 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in his time at Wisconsin. Locke will have two seasons of remaining eligibility.

Riley Nowakowski, TE

Already a veteran of five seasons, Nowakowski has shuttled between linebacker, fullback and tight end in his time at UW. He has caught 18 passes for 131 yards and a touchdown. 11 of his receptions came in 2024. Nowakowski has a single season of eligibility remaining.

Tyler Van Dyke, QB

A transfer from Miami, Van Dyke played in only three games with Wisconsin before suffering a season-ending injury. In his college career, Van Dyke has passed for 7,891 yards and 55 touchdowns. Even with a single year of eligibility, he'll be a sought-after portal QB.

Kamo'i Latu, S

A veteran safety, Latu played two years at Utah before transferring to Wisconsin. He had an impressive 2022 season at Wisconsin, with 55 tackles and a pair of interceptions. However, injuries slowed him, and in his entire career, he has had 98 tackles. He has a year of eligibility left.

James Durand, OL

Durand was an impressive prospect, but in two seasons at Wisconsin, he has seen action in only a single game. He moves on with three years of eligibility ahead of him.

Hank Weber, DL

Weber was a defensive line recruit from Tennessee. He didn't see any action at Wisconsin in his year there and will transfer with four seasons of eligibility left to utilize.

James Thompson Jr., DL

A five-year Badger, Thompson saw significant action in 2022 and 2023. He played in just one game in 2024. In his career, Thompson has posted 59 tackles and 13 tackles for loss, including five sacks. He'll have a single year of eligibility.

Nate White, RB

White didn't see any time as a running back or receiver in two seasons with Wisconsin. He'll seek his next stop in the portal with three years of eligibility remaining.

Braedyn Moore, S

In two seasons with Wisconsin, Moore played sparingly, logging only two tackles and a fumble recovery in 11 games. He's got three years left to play after his apparent transfer.

Jace Arnold, CB

In 14 career games over two seasons with Wisconsin, Arnold has a single tackle. Arnold has three remaining years to play.

Jonas Duclona, CB

Duclona had five total tackles in 15 games over two seasons. He saw most of his time in 2023 and, by redshirting in 2024, will retain three years of eligibility.

Curt Neal, DL

Neal had seen increasing action in three seasons at Wisconsin. He went from three to 13 to 29 tackles in his time at Wisconsin. In total, he had 45 tackles and five tackles for loss. Neal has two years of eligibility left.

Justin Taylor, S

Taylor played in just two games in two seasons at Wisconsin. He'll have three years of eligibility at his next school.

Amare Snowden, CB

In two years, Snowden made just one tackle. He's already announced he's heading to Toledo, where he will play baseball and football. He's got three years of eligibility there.

Leon Lowery Jr., DE

A veteran transfer from Syracuse, Lowery had 29 tackles in his season at Wisconsin. In his college career, Lowery has 107 tackles with 16 tackles for loss and six sacks. He'll have a single year to play at his next stop.

Cole LaCrue, QB

LaCrue never saw any game action in two seasons at Wisconsin and will have three remaining years of football to play.
