"Worse than 58 year old Mike Tyson": Deion Sanders & Colorado fans drag Utah through the mud ahead of Week 12 clash
The Colorado Buffaloes host the Utah Utes in Week 12 action. Folsom Field was the host of FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff," and fans were excited to showcase some of the signs they created, making fun of the Utah Utes, including comparing the opponent to 58-year-old Mike Tyson's boxing ability.
"Utah is worse than 58 year old Mike Tyson," the banner read.
The excitement outside Folsom Field was electric hours before kickoff.
Will the Colorado Buffaloes make the College Football Playoff this season?
The Colorado Buffaloes have been doing extremely well, currently 18th in the nation with a 7-2 (5-1 Big 12) record ahead of their game against the Utah Utes. Their remaining two games will see Colorado take on the Kansas Jayhawks and then at home to wrap up the year against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
The Buffs should go 3-0 in their final three regular-season games, with one of the Heisman Trophy favorites in two-way star Travis Hunter and potential finalist in quarterback Shedeur Sanders leading the way.
They are two key reasons Colorado is second in the Big 12 Conference standings, meaning they would be the road team in the Big 12 Conference Championship Game.
Colorado has looked dominant this season with a realistic chance to get to 10 wins in the regular season. If they go 10-2 and even lose in the Big 12 Championship Game, the Colorado Buffaloes should have put themselves in the position to still make it as a non-conference champion team.
The Colorado Buffaloes have been a solid team in all three facets of the game and should be able to keep that going. We will not know the 12 teams in the 2024 College Football Playoff until the selection show on Dec. 8, but if the Buffs continue to dominate as they have been, they should be in a prime position to make it.
