15 unbreakable records of Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar of India celebrates his team’s win during the 2011 ICC World Cup Final between India and Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium on April 2, 2011 in Mumbai, India.

There are many records of Sachin Tendulkar that seem like they will remain unbeaten forever. That said, this is how the cricketing world felt when he scored the first ever double century in one day international cricket against South Africa in 2010, only for it be broken the very next year by Virender Sehwag.

Similarly, the experts reckoned, when he scored this 50th century in Tests, that no batsman could ever think of eclipsing the record. The supremely fit Jacques Kallis, though, stands just seven short of the record and with at least two more years left in his career, I would not be surprised if the 37-year-old breaks that record too.

So considering all those factors, this list has been compiled in a way such that in all of the records mentioned therein, Sachin Tendulkar stands distinctly apart from his competitors. To make that even more convenient, in most circumstances, those who follow him in the list have retired from the game.
